Delete Your Account

How to permanently remove your CoStudent account and everything stored with it.

From inside the app

1. Open CoStudent and sign in.
2. Go to More → Settings.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm with Delete forever.

Deletion happens immediately. You'll be signed out and returned to the welcome screen, and your sign-in will no longer work.

Without the app

If you've uninstalled CoStudent or can't sign in, email victorerameh246@gmail.com from the address on your account, with the subject Account deletion request. We'll confirm and delete within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is erased permanently:

• Your account, email address, name and profile photo
• All lecture recordings and their audio files
• All transcripts, summaries and flashcards
• Uploaded materials and their extracted text
• Homework photos and solutions
• Chat history
• Quiz attempts, streaks and scheduled events

What we keep, and for how long

Deletion removes your account and associated study content from the active systems. Encrypted backups may retain deleted content for up to 30 days before they are overwritten. We do not retain your study profile for advertising or create an anonymised advertising profile after deletion.

Limited security and transactional records may be retained where necessary for legal, fraud-prevention or accounting obligations. Server logs are rotated according to our security-log retention period.

Deleting only some of your data

If you want to keep your account but remove specific items, you can delete individual lectures, materials and homework from their screens in the app. Your account and remaining content are unaffected.
